Purpose and Beliefs

Our Purpose:

Together, strengthening you to change your world for Christ.

Together...

The Christian life was never meant to be an autonomous endeavor.
This is why God created the church, so that we could provide love, support, accountability and community. See Acts 2:44.

Strengthening you...

We believe one of our roles is to equip our congregation in their faith so that they are prepared to live victoriously in Christ. See Ephesians 4:12.

To change your world...
The church (as an organization) is not responsible for permeating every area of culture and life. In our world Christians are to be salt and light. Believers should be focused on being Jesus in their homes, work and communities. See Matthew 5:13-16 and Acts 1:8.
For Christ.
As Christians, life isn't about us; it's about Christ. We're not trying to become agents of change for us but for Him. Our job here on earth is to be His ambassador wherever He has us – we are His representatives here on earth. See 2 Corinthians 5:20.
What We Believe

God.

We believe there is but one God who reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God, who was both fully God and fully man.

Man.

We believe that man was created in the image of God and that he sinned, and became separated from God, and is destined for eternal separation from God.

Salvation.

We believe that salvation is by God’s grace, not by man’s works. This salvation was accomplished by Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave and is available to all who believe.

Scripture.
We believe in the absolute authority and accuracy of the Bible as God’s Word to us and its relevancy to our lives today; and that every Christian is called to live according to its instruction.

Church.

We believe that the church is a group of believers in Jesus Christ, who serve together for worship, ministry, and fellowship. Fellowship Bible Church is a local representation of the global church.

Heaven.

We believe the eternal destination of all believers is with God in Heaven.
