PAUL STONE
Elder
Paul was born in the foothills of California and raised in the mountains of Montana. Through the influence of his Godly parents, he came to know Christ as his Savior at an early age. Paul came east to attend Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University) and graduated in 1998 with a B.Sc. in Pastoral Studies. While at college, Paul met Kym and they were married about 8 hours after graduating.
Paul served as the pastor of a small inner city church called First Baptist Church of Bridesburg from 1998 to 2002. While there, Paul and Kym developed a love for the youth of the city and a love for living side by side with the people of the community. In 2002, Paul and Kym along with a few others, started a ministry called Realife Inc. and Paul served as a leader in that ministry until 2006. At that time, Paul and Kym, along with their three kids (the last one was still on the way), moved from Philadelphia to NJ and started attending FBC. In 2009, Paul started serving as one of the FBC Elders.
Along with serving in church ministries, Paul and Kym have also been very involved in the for profit and non profit business world. In 2000, Paul started a construction company called Alpha Omega Construction. In 2002, Paul rolled that company into another existing company called Emerald Windows Inc. At that time, Paul also acquired a real estate company called Rush Realty. Paul, along with a business partner, continues to operate both companies. In 2013, Paul and Kym, along with several friends from FBC, started a non profit called Goliathon. Goliathon is an obstacle course challenge designed to raise money for those in need around the world.
When Paul's not working or serving, he enjoys family adventures that often include running, biking and obstacle conquering...with an occasional nap thrown in.
