CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: K-4TH GRADE

Awana

Adult Leader


ROLE REPORTS TO: Awana Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 5 hour per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through May

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Desire to mentor and teach elementary kids, member or regular attendee at Fellowship Bible Church; Pass security and background checks.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead small group time; occasional Bible teaching; review memory verses; assist kids in all activities; engage and mentor kids.

BaseCamp Kids
Teacher

ROLE REPORTS TO: BaseCamp Kids Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 4-5 hour per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Member of FBC, pass a background check, have a heart for teaching children, and a commitment to serve.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: It is recommended that teachers prepare lessons ahead of time and teach an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Teachers should oversee the class for the allotted time period.

BaseCamp Kids

Helper


ROLE REPORTS TO: BaseCamp Kids Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 4-5 hour per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Member of FBC, pass a background check, have a heart for teaching children, and a commitment to serve.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Helpers will assist with planning, craft, and helping with children.

Floater


ROLE REPORTS TO: BaseCamp Kids Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Member of FBC, pass a background check, have a heart for helping with children, and a commitment to serve.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Walk the hallways during the BaseCamp Kids time to ensure no children are roaming the halls. Help in classrooms when kids are moving from room to room. Make sure classes have the materials needed. Work with Security to ensure no unauthorized people are in the Children's wing.





CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: 5TH-6TH GRADE

Leader

ROLE REPORTS TO: Ignite Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 5-6 hours per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through May.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Member of FBC, pass a background check, have a heart for teaching children (5th & 6th Grade), and a commitment to serve.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and teach a Bible lesson, lead a small group discussion, organize games, help lead/teach worship.





ADULT MINISTRY

Grace in Action

Facilitators and Encouragers


ROLE REPORTS TO: Grace in Action Coordinator

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Facilitator (2-3 hours a week). Assistant Facilitator (4-5 hours a week). Encourager (4-5 hours per month).

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: Men's group meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 12 months of the year.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A desire to serve the Lord.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitator:

  • Prepare a lesson for each meeting
  • Lead and facilitate each meeting
  • Set up and tear down meetings as necessary

Assistant Facilitator:

  • Lead and facilitate meetings when Facilitator isn’t present
  • Be a part of the GIA team and participate in the meetings regularly

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3-4 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A desire to serve young children. Good with the children. Must pass a background check.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the care of children ages infant to 3 years old. Teach very basic Bible lessons and crafts to the older kids. Keep rooms clean and safe.

Helper


ROLE REPORTS TO: FBC Administrative Assistant

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Willingness to come an hour early and leave 30 minutes after the service.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Arrive around 8:30 am to brew coffee and set up coffee carts with snacks, sugar, creamers, water, cups, etc., and clean up after the service.

Quick Response Team

ROLE REPORTS TO: Outreach Ministry Team Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Less than 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Being able to love others and share the gospel.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: It will vary when each unique opportunity presents itself.

Quarterly Response Team


ROLE REPORTS TO: Outreach Ministry Team Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Less than 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Once a quarter we will have unique opportunities to partner with local organizations that have projects we can join with. The volunteer will need to be flexible as these opportunities will vary significantly. 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Every volunteer opportunity will be unique.

Events Teams

ROLE REPORTS TO: Events Ministry Team Leader
MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Less than 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

ROLES NEEDED: Parking lot attendants, Ticket takers (concerts), Ushers (for well-attended events), Merchandise setup & sales (concerts), Restroom cleaners (during and after events), Meal Prep (for luncheons, boot camps, etc), Meal Servers, Load in/Load out - (loading artists equipment to the stage pre-concert and post-concert), Runner - Transporting artists, support people, etc day of show, Security - during the event (also does bag checks as people enter the building), Help desk - (Will Call, handling complaints/special needs, etc), Ticket sales (for walkups).

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Just a willing spirit, patience with people, and a smile. Training is minimal.

Sound Technician

ROLE REPORTS TO: Technical Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 4-5 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A good ear for music, Critical Listening Skills, ability to work well under pressure and produce quality results, ability to pick up and carry heavy objects, willingness to learn.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:: Mixing Sunday morning services and Wednesday night practice, mixing for special events such as weddings, funerals, plays, etc, setup and teardown of sound equipment throughout the church, maintain church audio equipment.

Broadcast Audio Technician


ROLE REPORTS TO: Technical Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3-4 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A good ear for music, Critical Listening Skills, ability to work well under pressure and produce quality results, ability to pick up and carry heavy objects, willingness to learn.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Mixing Sunday morning broadcast audio for the church live stream, mixing broadcast audio for certain special events, assist Sound Technician with various sound-related tasks.

ROLE REPORTS TO: Sound and Tech Ministry Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3-4 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A good eye for video angles/shots/coloring, creative mindset with emphasis on visual creativity, good communication skills, ability to work well under pressure and produce quality results, willingness to learn.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce engaging, creative video for live broadcast, switching video during Sunday morning for the live broadcast, communicate with camera operators to set up various shots, prepare graphics for the live broadcast, maintain video broadcasting equipment.

Media Technician


ROLE REPORTS TO: Sound and Tech Ministry Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3-4 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Familiarity with operating a computer, ability to create graphics/slides, a good eye for spelling and grammatical errors, ability to work well under pressure and produce quality results, willingness to learn.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate lyric software (ProPresenter) on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night practice, create and edit presentations and lyric slides and import videos, operate projection equipment.

Camera Operator


ROLE REPORTS TO: Sound and Tech Ministry Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: A good eye for creative video angles and shots,  a creative mindset with an emphasis on visual creativity, good communication skills, ability to work well under pressure and produce quality results, willingness to learn.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating broadcast cameras, work with the Technical Director to create engaging and interesting video shots, maintaining camera and associated equipment.






TEEN MINISTRY

Third Place Youth

Small Group Leader

ROLE REPORTS TO: Youth Pastor

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 5-6 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Love for teenagers, ability to communicate clearly, flexibility, age 19+.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Participation in weekly youth group (Thursday nights), attendance at quarterly staff meetings (typically Sundays right after church), partnering with another adult leader to facilitate conversations with teens during small group times, using prepared materials, maintaining connections with your students throughout the school year, when possible, attending special youth events.

We are seeking teammates who will see their role in our youth program not just as participating in a spiritual daycare for teens, but as an opportunity to invest in the future leaders and thinkers of the Church by helping them to think critically about the Bible and their spiritual disciplines. This commitment is for the duration of the school year, but we want to work with your personal schedule and also help you grow into this role!

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Servant spirit, mobility to walk around parking lot.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome and direct people in the parking lot. Awareness of visitors coming into the parking lot, greeting them, and assisting them. Putting out and bringing in Parking lot signs.

ROLE REPORTS TO: Next Steps Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Joyful outgoing spirit, servant spirit.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet people as they come in the door. Open door for them. Answer any questions or direct them to Welcome center.

ROLE REPORTS TO: Children's Ministry Director

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Friendly attitude, servant spirit.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend to the check in stations in foyer prior to Sunday's service, check in anyone who hasn't done self check in.

Welcome Center


ROLE REPORTS TO: Next Steps Director
MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: This person should know the basics about the ministries at FBC to answer questions from visitors. Should be a member of FBC
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome people as they come by Welcome Center. Encourage visitors and new attendees to sign up for Lunch with our leaders and be prepared to answer basic questions about FBC. Be at the Welcome Center after service to hand out Welcome Bags to first-time visitors.

Campus Surveillance

ROLE REPORTS TO: Security Team Coordinator

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: This person should be attune to their surroundings, able to confront threats or potential threats, know how to operate a communication radio and demonstrate discernment.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Be a part of a regular security shift happening primarily on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Global Outreach Team

ROLE REPORTS TO: Global Outreach Team Ministry Leader

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Active Fellowship Bible Church member, passion for global outreach.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Meet missionaries seeking Fellowship Bible Church support, actively pray for and encourage our missionaries, share missionary updates with the congregation, plan and/or participate in short term mission trips.

Facility Stewardship Ministry

ROLE REPORTS TO: Facility Stewardship Ministry Team

MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Active Fellowship Bible Church attendee. Desire to see the church property look and be the best it can be.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Participate in one of our facility stewardship teams: aesthetic and presentation, internal maintenance, outside maintenance, major projects, cleanliness.






ADULT MINISTRY

Worship Ministry
Worship Team 

ROLE REPORTS TO: Worship Ministry Team
MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3 hour per month.

WHAT MONTHS OF THE YEAR: September through August.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Active Fellowship Bible Church attendee. Desire to lead in worship through singing and/or instrument. Maintains personal walk in the Lord while participating in ongoing training and ministry development.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will be on set every 4 weeks. Must attend worship practice that week as well as Sunday morning practice and worship in service.
